¿Qué puedo decir sobre Cuba que no haya sido dicho ya? Podría aburrirte hasta morir hablándote sobre la historia del país, su colonización, el partido comunista, la Guerra Fría, el embargo de Estados Unidos, el mito de la familia Castro, sus sobrecogedores paisajes, sus coches de época, sus bellas mujeres, su ron y su tabaco o su rica cultura musical. Y la lista, sigue y sigue.
El hecho, es que, en la actualidad, con la globalización, el consumismo y la gente contectada 24/7, es cada vez más complejo encontrar el verdadero alma de cada lugar y se nota que todos y cada uno de los países comienzan a sentir y parecer lo mismo. Cuba, aún conserva ese sentimento real, puro y honesto. Sin embargo, cuando visité el país este año, sentí que las cosas estaban cambiando de un modo muy rápido y que otro capítulo de esta cápsula del tiempo llamada República estaba llegando a su fin. Así que, sin más preámbulo, aquí tenéis este diario visual de esta inspiradora isla del Caribe titulado “Fin de Siglo”.

The list goes on and on …
Fact is that nowadays with globalisation, consumerism and people connected 24/7, places with that authentic vibe are getting harder & harder to find and all countries are starting to feel and look the same. Cuba still has that real, raw and honest feel to it. However, when I visited the country last year, it felt like things were changing at a very fast pace and yet another chapter of this time capsule called república de Cuba was coming to an end. So without further ado, here is my visual diary of this inspiring island in the Caribbean Sea entitled «Fin de siglo».
