Berlin-based label Ucon Acrobatics revisits its roots with the relaunch of its Original Series — an iconic collection reborn for a new era. What was once a sturdy canvas classic now returns as a statement of responsible innovation: the entire line is crafted from over 95% recycled textiles, proving that urban design can be as conscious as it is functional.

The reinvented series retains Ucon’s signature minimalist aesthetic while introducing a new fabric that looks like cotton, feels like linen, and performs far beyond either. Instead of relying on traditional cotton — which requires more than 1,000 liters of water per kilo — Ucon developed its own circular material made from recycled fashion waste. The result is a smooth, water-repellent, and long-lasting textile that blends timeless design with advanced performance.

For Ucon Acrobatics, this relaunch goes beyond fashion. It’s about rethinking how things are made and why — creating durable pieces designed in Berlin for modern urban life, without leaving unnecessary traces on the planet.

Leading by Example: B Corp Re-Certification

Adding to this milestone, Ucon Acrobatics has renewed its B Corp Certification with an impressive score of 120 points, placing it among the world’s most sustainable backpack brands. This achievement highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to environmental integrity, social responsibility, and design transparency.

“As we’ve shown from the beginning, style, function, and responsibility belong together,” says co-founder Martin Fussenegger. With this new chapter, Ucon Acrobatics reaffirms that sustainability isn’t a passing trend — it’s the brand’s natural way forward.
