Staf Magazine is a non-profit publication and its made possible thanks to the passion and collaboration of people who love writing, design, culture, music, and history, and who dedicate their free time to keep it alive.

Staf Magazine was born in 1997 out of the need to create a different path within independent culture. More than 25 years later, we are still convinced that it is essential to stay active, documenting and sharing stories that matter, stories that cannot be measured by algorithms or fleeting trends.

Staf Magazine has documented the music and culture emerging from the hardcore, punk rock, and underground/independent scene of a small city in southern Europe: Málaga. Over this time, the magazine and its collective have published more than 50 printed issues and developed countless projects: books and records, tours for bands across Spain and Europe, art exhibitions, music festivals, skate contests, international cultural and educational festivals, and much more. We will continue as long as this community keeps creating music and art that speaks to us.

We do not chase big names or empty showcases, but rather attitude, curiosity, and authenticity. Each issue is born from the D.I.Y. philosophy, created with passion and from the margins, and becomes a space to experience, live, and share culture in all its forms, connecting with those who believe culture is a tool for transformation, memory, play, and collective building.

The online store is closed most of the year and we only open and manage orders when time allows. If you are looking for printed issues, many bookstores in Spain have old copies, or you can contact us directly.
